About Us
We are reliable farming professionals with over 5 years of experience. We are currently running 3 farm sites at Onigbedu area of Ewekoro Local Government in Ogun State. Our farm sites include a 4 hectare site dedicated to the growing of cassava as well as a 1 hectare experimental rice farm.
There is also a plan to move into the neighboring Benin republic where land acquisition, ownership and security are stable. Here we intend to set up an oil palm estate as well as grow trees for timber export and eventually a farm resort.
In June 2020, we acquired 5 West Africa dwarf goats and a Kalahari red buck to start goat breeding. In September, we acquired another 3 Balami sheep (ewes) and a ram for the same purpose. We are hoping to get some land to start a full fledged goat/sheep farm ver soon.
Services
Our company is also involved in consultancy services for those who might be interested in setting up agro farms. A subsidiary of ELEOT Ventures is Sagbedoro Elere Adubi (Ewekoro) Farmers Cooperative Multipurpose Society, which was set up to coordinate the cassava farmers in our area of operations.
The cooperative is also trying to raise funds for small farmers in order to encourage cassava production and goat /sheep farming. You can be sure we will get the job done and get it done right.
History
We started with just one permanent employee in 2009 growing cassava for the local processors and today we have diversified into rice, pepper and plantain,and timber, working out of a 25 hectare farm. Today, we have over 4 permanent and 40 temporary employees, but our passion and dedication remain strong. Working with us, you will find we still stay true to our roots.
As at 2016, we are already cultivating over 1200 trees. This comprises 700 gmelina trees and 500 teak trees. Our intention is to plant 1000 gmelina trees each year over the next 5 years.
ELEOT Ventures hopes to veer into light manufacturing in 2019. The timber plantation is meant to serve as our raw materials base whilst also serving as an environmental protection shield. construction work is in progress at our Onigbedu site where we intend to locate our toothpick, gari and plantain processing plants,
the company is also hoping to venture into creating a farm settlement as a way of providing raw materials for her proposed projects.
